If you register for a free trial, a subscription on one of our websites, or for a training course, webinar or event, the information you submit will be stored on our database which is hosted on secure cloud-based service Salesforce. It may also be stored with whatever third-party registration service provider used, such as Eventbrite, Cvent or GotoWebinar. Due to the global nature of the internet and cloud-based services this means your data may be stored outside the country in which you live. However, we only work with well-established, reputable service providers with robust data security policies.
We may also store data from other sources, for example if you gave us your business card, made an enquiry or were in some other way introduced to us. This data may include:

All our services are in the business-to-business environment. Therefore we encourage you to provide us with, where possible, only data that relates to your business not your home. We do not wish to disturb you in your personal time and space.
We never sell or rent our customer data to third parties. In some cases sponsors or partners may have access to participant data of the project on which they collaborate. For example, a sponsor of a conference may have access to the details of the participants of that event.
We store cookies to allow the passwords of registered users to be remembered by the website and to make sure they get the access to which they are entitled. This also means we obtain data about website and email usage. We only use such data on an individual basis for internal use to help us better understand our customers’ interests. This data is never made public unless in an aggregated form – for example to provide an advertiser with website traffic figures.
